Mountain Riders

This is the 50th post of the blog and we are half way to our goal which is a 100 posts. Hopefully the next 50 posts aren’t far away but I am happy to be making the 50th post today, this very, very hot day this Wednesday July 16th.

This blog has increased in size since opening a few months ago. I am proud to call this blog mine and Hopefully the the 100th post is not too far away.

I just checked Google’s Index rates and we have nearly 50 pages indexed and we only have about 35 posts. It is pretty good for a blog that hasn’t even hit 50 posts yet. The categories and other pages of the blog were also indexed and that is the reason for the high index rates.

I plan to pick up posting and hopefully we’ll get more pages indexed and that can only mean we will get more visitors and it is a great way to grow.

I have been mentioning and stating that there will be an upgrade on here but never really went on with it due to complications and lack of time. But the good news is that this blog has finally been upgraded to the latest version of wordpress which is wordpress 2.5 without a problem.

I ran into issues the last time I tried to upgrade so that is why I left this alone until now. But thankfully it went perfectly this time and hopefully the next time we have to upgrade, it goes smoothly as well.

People are always setting up auto blogs who take on purpose other blogs information including posts, titles, and even URLs which is annoying. Mountain Riders has had a few people set up auto blogs just taking content from us but slowly I have been finding them and contacting the owners of the blogs asking them to remove my blog from their RSS Feed list.

It is annoying when you do all the work and someone else ends up taking credit for it all. It is extremely infuriating because all it does it create duplicate content in the internet and makes it less unique.

I have just uploaded and installed the newest Look for the Mountain Riders webmaster blog. Soon enough You will be learning a lot about webmastering and what it takes to make a huge site. This is just the beginning of Mountain Riders so make sure you visit back and get a feel of how you can make it big time.

Come back whenever you feel. But don’t go away forever.

Here on the Mountain Riders Blog we’ll be switching to a new look very soon, perhaps by tonight. I have been busy with a few of my other sites such as forum and blogs because I had to upgrade them as well as update some of them. Some failed while others were a total success.
